TS Police have shown guts, says CM.KCR

HYDERABD: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today warned of serious action against the anti-social elements and those who cause impediment to law and order. The Government will suppress with iron hand the assailants and goons involved in such incidents, he warned. KCR appreciated police personnel for showing guts and valour in tackling the anti-social elements and assailants involved in Suryapet firing incident.

In a communiqué released here, the Chief Minister, while giving pat to the police for their sacrifice, said their bravado will remain in the history of Telangana State. He enquired about the well-being of the policemen at the hospital and asked the officials to provide the best treatment. “The policemen fought with anti-social elements at the cost of their own lives”, the Chief Minister noted. He said Circle Inspectors Mogilaiah, Balagangi Reddy, Athmakur SI Siddaiah, Home Guard Kishore bravely fought with the assailants. He said policemen sacrificed themselves while discharging their duties including Lingaiah, Home Guard Mahesh and another constable killed in encounter.

The Chief Minister said his government will not tolerate such incidents and suppress the criminals with iron hand. Expressing shock at the incident in which a few policemen were killed, the CM said that the Government will bear the expenditure towards the medical services being made to the ailing policemen at Kamineni Hospital. He directed the officials to provide the best treatment to the policemen. KCR also said the government will provide them complete help financially and otherwise. The policemen played a great role in nabbing the assailants, he said, adding that the government will provide all help to the deceased families.
